Our large wood panel, carved in high relief and beautifully gilded, probably comes from a chapel or sacristy door top.
This rich, late 18th-century work is set within a vast scallop shell, a symbol of resurrection.
It holds a heart in Glory, adorned with a cross. A rocaille decoration with fruit and acanthus leaves enriches the ensemble.
Important dimensions: 90 cm by 94 cm and 14 cm deep.
