Les Enfants d'Édouard is a painting by Paul Delaroche.
The painting depicts Edward V and the Duke of York, locked in a room in the Tower of London. The two young princes are sitting on their beds. Edward V, suffering, melancholy and dressed in black, clasps his hands together, tilts his head to one side and leans on his brother's shoulder. The latter is more alert, wrapped in an ample black velvet robe and holding an open book of hours on his elder brother's lap, to whom he has been reading, when all of a sudden a sinister clatter of keys calls his attention; he turns fearfully towards the door, whose knuckles let in a ray of light. A small dog looked the same way, pricked up its ears and waited to be let in. The assassins sent by Gloucester are about to appear.
