A very pretty bouquet of flowers by the painter Paul Henry Lafon (19th-20th century), from his gallery in Quiberon, purchased in August 1967. Oil on hardboard (17 x 23 cm).

Born in Périgueux, a student at the Bordeaux School of Fine Arts, he made his debut at the 1909 Salon of the Society of Gironde Artists. He also participated in the Bordeaux Autumn Salon, exhibited at the Jean Charpentier Gallery in January 1928, and at the Bon Marché Art Gallery in May 1930. He was also a member of the French Watercolor Society. He settled in Quiberon and opened a gallery there. He is known for his numerous views of Brittany.
