Set of 2 chrome metal armchairs b34 by Marcel Breuer, from a former administration. Reissued by the architects for Matteo Grassi in the 1960s. These seats to the purified realization, presents a chromed metal tubular structure. The back and seat are upholstered in thick black leather. They are stitched with saddle stitch, a technique of sewing with two needles, very popular because of its strength. The absence of the two metal hoops with screw threads and the leather armrests under one of the chairs is noteworthy (see photo). With their original curves, these two matteo grassi chairs combine comfort and timeless design. Period: 1960. Original condition with normal traces of age.
