What elegance!
In a perfectly mastered harmony of hues, a Karabakh rug from the Caucasus.

The pile is short, a distinctive feature of ancient Caucasian rugs.
Structurally, the piece is supple and light. However, the rug retains a firm hold on the ground.
Composition of 3 distinct medallions in a central madder-red field.
Stylized dragon motifs.
Stars, various cruciform motifs, amulets.
Multiple floral borders.
Tones of deep indigo blue, madder red, walnut, ivory, saffron yellow, olive green.

Of rare beauty, this piece alone can illuminate an entire space.
A highly decorative collector's item.
