    An important triumphal arch portico clock, in white marble with rich ornamentation in chased and gilded bronze (matt and bright gold), with antique decor featuring two obelisks, each adorned with the remains of the Nemean lion and suspended cannonballs, The obelisks are topped by a sculpture of a helmeted Roman warrior, in toga and holding a shield, representing the god Mars. The obelisks are encircled by small bollards joined by chains, friezes of pearls, rais de cœur and interlacing, and stand on a rectangular base supported by six small spinning top feet (minor accidents and alterations).
    Enameled dial signed "Deschamps à Paris", showing hours and minutes in Arabic numerals, and the date of the month (from 1 to 31) in red on the outer edge; original movement with wire suspension, rooster-head balance.
    Louis XVI period.
