Bronze clock with two patinas (black and gold) representing a musician Cupid playing the zither at a table under a broad-leaved tree, enamelled dial with Roman numerals signed Thiéry in Paris surrounded by small bees, base decorated with an antique mascaron and palmettes, on base and under globe, from the 1st Empire period - Restoration around 1815 at the beginning of the 19th century.
This clock is in very good condition and is of exceptional quality. She is under globe. We have its key and its pendulum, the movement works. The cherub has placed his attributes beside him (torch, laurel branch and his bow) in order to be able to play music. The sides of the clock are decorated with lyres.
A note: two small shocks and a small slit on the back (see red arrows), slight scratches on the gilding and the patina, the veneer of the base is a little warped on the edge (hardly visible), wear of the time, take a good look at the photos.
