Mask representing a face of a beautiful elegance displaying a worked hairstyle and scarifications with in particular the typical cross of the Tchokwe in the middle of the forehead.
The face is serene and is embellished by earrings made of metal folded in spirals (remains of red pigment on the earrings).
This mask appears to be more of a protective mask representing an ancestral figure than a dance mask.
