Rare travel stereoscope from "Sunbeam tours Ltd" complete with original case and 34 stereoscopic maps of London Zoo, 1920 circa.

The lightweight viewer and stereovisual "tours" were the idea of a member (Harry Cox) of the Royal Photographic Society and the Royal Geographical and Zoological Societies.
Reportedly, the idea came to him during his war service overseas and he was personally responsible for each of the tour's sets.

The viewer is made of mahogany wood with green metal inserts.
It can be disassembled into 3 parts to insert it into its own box associated with stereovision boxes.

The sticker on the front of the helmet indicates that the lenses are removable for cleaning.
The stereoscope is suitable for viewing paper stereoscopic plates measuring 13x18.

The lenses are in excellent condition and the viewer works perfectly.
