Three winged cherubs are arranged in a triangle around a central axis, like a caryatid, each with a distinct, painted and finely modeled face.
The stylized wings, drapery and foliage are carved and covered with gold leaf and enhanced with red-brown and black polychrome.
This is probably a console, altar corbel or altarpiece element.
Southern European work.
Dimensions: 67 cm high by 45 cm wide.
