Our wooden tabernacle is beautifully decorated with vibrant blue and white polychrome painting, accented by numerous gold leaf details.
The structure is adorned with six Corinthian columns featuring twisted shafts, floral motifs, and a carved pediment bearing a radiant angel’s head. The door, naturally the central element of the Holy of Holies, is covered with an oil-painted panel depicting Christ in Glory carrying His Cross.
Substantial dimensions: 1 meter high by 81 cm wide.
Dimensions of the door alone: 30 cm by 14.5 cm.
An Italian work from the late 17th or early 18th century.
In very good condition—note that the door’s hinge mechanism has been removed and the door is now fixed in place.
