An elegant, geometrically balanced structure of carved and beautifully gilded wood houses a Christ on the Cross, probably in bone, surrounded by a rich montage of cannetilles, pearls and glassware. In this three-sided glass niche, two relics watch over him, one of Saint Victor Martyr and the other of Saint Francis. The domed frame is adorned with rocaille and scroll motifs and rests on a richly molded base.
On the back are two wax seals blocking access to the relics.
Italian work from the second half of the 18th century.
