Two saints in particular take pride of place in this rich, brightly-colored floral montage on a red upholstered background.
These are two ex-indumentis relics of Saint Rose of Viterbo and three important ex-cineribus relics of Saint Beatrice.
The skull and bones of our Saint are shaped here by ashes, in the form of paste, which has been given these astonishing and rare forms.
Finally, ex-ossibus relics of Saint Aquila, Donat and Réparat complete this remarkable ensemble.

The chase is made of wood, and the base, palmette and fire pot are gilded.
Probably made in the Tuscany region in the late 18th century. On the back are a few wax seals. The reliquary has probably been opened for cleaning.
Dimensions: 45 cm high x 52 cm long x 23 cm deep.
