Plain brass mounting for junior officers and officers, without chasing. Mounting with fixed counter keyboard, keyboard decorated with the traditional Polytechnique corset. Handle imitates filigree horn. White blade, length 64.5cm. Black lacquered steel scabbard with two brass fittings. Frame and scabbard similarly stamped "328". Black leather shoulder strap. Black leather belt with gold-plated brass buckle, combined with the symbols of the 3 learned arms: Artillery, Engineering and Navy.
