Beautiful dagger for Armée de l'Air ceremonial dress. Brass metal fittings, ivory plastic spindle, unmarked one-piece chromed steel double-edged blade.
Brass scabbard sheathed in dark blue box-calf.
Brass buckles, tassel lanyard in large gold cannetille twists with royal blue natural silk fillets.
Blade length: 25.6 cm. Total weapon length: 41 cm. Very good condition. France, 20th century, early 1950s.
