Beautiful decorative bronze statuette depicting a helmeted Greek or Spartan warrior carrying a shield and throwing a spear. Gilt bronze on a Sienna yellow marble terrace. Restoration Empire style (circa 1840-50).

Beautiful decorative object or paperweight on a desk. Original, beautifully crafted, this is a highly decorative, amusing and rare piece. The set is in very good condition (small chips to the corners of the marble).
