Prestigious origin: Malatya in Southeast Anatolia. The work of Kurdish weavers.
This region is renowned and prized for the quality of its weaving.
Woven by master craftsmen, traditionally wool on wool. The weave is extremely fine and tight, sensational.

The piece is supple and surprisingly lightweight.
The dyes are exclusively plant-based; they are dense and saturated. Their durability will last for centuries.

Of course, you'll appreciate the magnificent indigo blue and also the striking contrast of the white motifs, which are stylized ram's horns.

Many motifs are adorned with twisted metallic threads, adding even more preciousness to this exceptional piece, which will delight collectors and lovers of refined antique textiles alike.
In a near-miraculous state of preservation, this piece is ideal for a long hallway, hung on a wall near a staircase, or elsewhere.
