Gilt bronze clock (2 patinas) presenting the Allegory of Music with a pair of figures (a man playing the panpipes and a woman draped in antique style) holding a floral garland over the enameled dial with Roman numerals, surmounted by an amphora adorned with cherubs, base chased with musicians and lyres, from the Restauration period of the 19th century.
This clock is in good condition and of high quality. The wire movement works (has been overhauled). We have the pendulum but not the key.
Please note: the instrument held by the woman (a lyre?) is missing, the garland moves slightly, tiny micro-chips on the dial (at the winding holes), some wear on the gilding, age wear, see photos.
Diameter: dial 10 cm
Dimensions: 36.5 cm x 12 cm
Height: 48.5 cm
