Our early-period reliquary features a multi-lobed base in relief, supporting a stem and a large central knot decorated with diamond-shaped panels. These support a small niche topped by a lid with sloping sides reminiscent of the roof of a religious building. The piece was intended to house a holy relic.
A Germanic work from the late 15th or very early 16th century.
Dimensions: 24.5 cm by 15 cm, 9.5 cm deep.
In good condition—the top cross is missing.
