    Made entirely of brass. The base of the bomb is bordered on the front and back by a band decorated with raised moldings on the front and back. Mobile visor embossed with two crossed axes linked by a ribbon and framed by laurel branches. Neck cover encircled by a folded rush straddling the outer edge. Crest with fins embossed with ten gadroons and a mask decorated with a flaming bomb, topped by a black horsehair chenille. Brass faceplate embossed with a Gallic rooster on a globe resting on an escutcheon marked "dévouement", framed by vine branches and sheaves of wheat, with a ribbon bearing the inscription "SAPEURS POMPIERS DE GHAINTEY" against a background of flag bundles. Brass chinstraps composed of two chinstraps with rosette: each chin strap is composed of a brass plate embossed with scalloped scales in relief, mounted on leather, round rosette embossed with gadroons in relief. Plume-holder with square cross-section tapering towards the bottom and missing clamping screw. Posterior plume.
