Imposing pair of armchairs "à la Reine" in the Regency style, 19th century.
In solid walnut, they rest on four legs in the form of hind hooves, richly carved with acanthus leaves, shells and flowers, scrolled arms.
Impressive because of their generous model, their workmanship, the carving of the wood and the details.
We have here a model of great beauty, sober and chic. They are entirely upholstered in a Suedine (marron glacé) with a studded finish. These two armchairs will easily find their place in a living room or a hallway in a classic or modern interior.
Wide and deep, their seat is firm and particularly comfortable.
