Small finely chased gilt bronze clock, decorated with an angelot or Amour Triomphant, the foot proudly resting on the head of a defeated and recumbent lion, enameled dial with Roman numerals surmounted by torch and quiver, below two beautiful crossed palmettes, base bearing the inscription "Qui Pourrait me Résister", 1st Empire period, early 19th century.
This clock is in good condition and of exceptional quality. The wire movement works (has been overhauled), we have the balance wheel but not the key.
Please note: tiny enamel chips around the winding hole on the dial, light scratches and wear to the gilding in places, see photos.
