LARGE PENDULUM "ANACREON"
In the form of an antique bollard in chiseled gilt bronze, patinated and a plinth in cherry red marble.
It is adorned in the lower part with an applique decoration depicting the Greek poet Anacreon playing the lyre seated, to his left a winged love.
The sides feature a chiseled and gilded bronze motif applied with two crossed beams and a Bacchus mask.
The white enamelled dial with Roman numerals is signed by Allier Jeune in Paris.
Wire movement, indicates dates, complete with key, balance and gong.
It is surrounded by a garland of vine leaves in chiseled and gilded bronze.
