Tyrolean art, our pyramid-shaped monstrance is made of delicately carved and gilded wood. It rests on a wooden base, also a reliquary.
The main niche, on the base, houses a notable relic of Saint Libérat, abbot martyred in 484.
The upper niche houses ex-ossibus and bagged relics of the martyrs Gratien and Fulgence.
The whole is supported by a rich work of pearls, stones and silver threads, centered on a small gouache medallion.
On the back are numerous wax seals attesting to the inviolability of this reliquary, which also features its original glassware.
Fine condition. A few cracks and small chips.
Dimensions: 50 cm x 33 cm wide x 11 cm deep.
