A notable relic of Saint Faustinus, encased in a spectacular reliquary of finely carved, painted, and gilded wood.

The decoration features scrolls, acanthus leaves, volutes, and floral motifs.
The reliquary niche contains a relic of Saint Faustinus, likely Faustin, Martyr near Brescia (+ 122).
Five episcopal seals on the back guarantee the relic's integrity. This relic, ex ossibus (from the bone), is bagged and measures approximately 16 cm.

The reliquary measures 60 cm long, 53 cm high, and 26 cm deep.
A work from northern Italy, late 18th century.
Good condition.
