Total length: 24.4cm - Barrel length: 11.4cm - Cal. 11mm navy
Barrel with sides then round with the markings: Mle 1873. M, on the top. Right side S. 1878. Left side 158 and hallmarks M and J.
White polished steel frame. 6-shot barrel. Single and double action operation. Controller hallmarks.
The mechanical parts have kept their straw yellow finish.
Gridded wooden stock plates with the weapon number. Bail ring on piton. Cap stamped with the navy anchor.
All parts numbered and hallmarked.
Very good general condition. Canon and mirror chambers.
The total production of Marine's 1873 revolver is 13,188 copies.
