Pair of flintlock pistols for the oriental market
European work, 19th century
Steel, wood, brass.
Total length: 51cm - Barrel length: 33.3cm - Muzzle diameter: 14.5mm

Round barrels, engraved in relief on top, with brass inlay. Engraved flat breech tails.
Brass nipples.
Flat-body locks, engraved on the barrels with brass inlays. Swan-neck hammers.
Cut-out, openwork and engraved brass counterplates.
Brass bridges, decorated in sequence.
Long-tailed caps, nicely decorated with foliage in relief and nails.
Slightly carved walnut mounts, studded with brass nails; engraved and openwork brass thumb pieces.
Wooden sticks.
