    Slightly trapezoid-shaped helmet in nickel-chromium stainless steel. Folded brass snap ring straddling the outer edge of the visor and neck cover, marked Bernard FRANCK et Fils, Aubervilliers, and stamped "1780". Flat on the front of the crest with brass flaming bomb. Front plate depicting a shield with the coat of arms of the City of Paris surmounted by a crown, with oak and laurel branches on either side, topped by a ribbon bearing the inscription "FLUCTUAT NEC MERGITUR". Brown leather chinstrap. Headdress in black skay cut into six wolf's teeth.
