These two characters who are counterparts are two famous contemporaries of the beginning of the reign of Louis XIV. Nicolas Fouquet, superintendent of finances - and whose tragic fate no one is unaware of - and, probably, Cardinal de Mazarin, longtime protector of the young Fouquet. The cardinal will hoist Fouquet to the closest king's council. These two bronze busts and their pedestals are in very good condition.
