    Total length : 94 cm ; Blade length : 80 cm

    Brass guard with two branches, stamped " 569 " and punched.
    Wooden handle, sheathed in leather and watermarked with a brass thread.
    Short-tailed cap.
    Curved blade with hollow sides, flat back engraved "Manufacture Nationale de Châtellerault .bre 1854".
    Leather tie.
    Steel scabbard with a ring of bélière, stamped " 569 ".
