    Sword with mother-of-pearl hilt inlaid with a medallion of the Order of Saint Gregory the Great. Sword for the uniform of the papal order of St. Gregory the Great, late 19th century.
    Triangular nickel-plated blade, oval gold-plated brass handle with relief motif and openwork guard. The handle is mother of pearl. Leather scabbard with golden fittings. Signs of age and wear, damage to locket enamel.
