The Jardin des Moines presents a beautiful pyramidal monstrance with a Relique Notable De Saint Honorat - 18th century

Saint Honorat, Martyr. It's probably of Saint Honorat, bishop of Arles who died in 429, the same one whose disciple and successor Saint Hilaire d'Arles said of him: "If we wanted to represent charity in a human figure, we'd have to paint Honorat's portrait."
Our large reliquary monstrance is in carved wood, punctually gilded and polychromed. It stands on two square feet. On the back are five wax seals confirming the relic's authenticity. They are clearly marked with the name of the parish of Saint Leonard in Ekartsau (near Vienna).
A large ex-ossibus relic of the upper part of the skull, surrounded by a rich montage of pearls, glassware and silver threads.

An 18th-century Austrian work in very good condition.
Dimensions: 61 cm high by 41 and 11 cm deep.
